I started Red Ribbon Tack because I was tired. Tired of the endless drives to find quality tack, tired of scrolling through online stores only to settle for gear that didn’t quite hit the mark. Even in an area filled with world-class riders, there was no local destination for truly exceptional equestrian equipment.
I’ve been riding for over 30 years. Back when eventing was scrappy—where you could fall on cross-country and remount, where the post-show hangout was BBQ or Mexican, and custom gear meant a trip to Europe or nowhere at all. I saw the need for something different, something better. So, I built it: a store that brings curated, high-quality equestrian goods to the Southeast.
Since opening in August of 2021, Red Ribbon Tack has become the go-to destination for riders who want only the best—whether it’s Kingsley boots, handcrafted Italian bridles, or that perfect sheepskin half pad. It’s for Olympians, amateurs, foxhunters, pony-clubbers, and everyone in between. It’s not just a store; it’s what equestrian retail should be—knowledgeable, elevated, and personal.

I’ve been immersed in the equestrian world for over 30 years—as a Pony Club graduate, professional carriage driver, riding instructor, and long-time foxhunter. I’ve always been passionate about the details that make both the rider and the horse feel their best.
Running Red Ribbon Tack allows me to combine my deep love for equestrianism with my mission to bring high-quality, functional, and beautiful gear to riders who truly care about their craft. I’m a mom to an 8-year-old rider, so I get how quickly things change and how important it is to invest in the right pieces.

Red Ribbon Tack travels—literally. Our mobile showroom appears at horse trials, schooling shows, and equestrian events across the Southeast almost every weekend. We bring the best of European leatherwork, custom fit options, and rider-tested favorites straight to the aisle. And when the tent’s not up? We offer private fittings and one-on-one shopping by appointment, so you never have to compromise on fit or feel.
